We are a family that owns and operates a small boutique hotel, Kivikstrand Badhotell, located by the beach in a small holiday resort in southern Sweden about 100 km from Malmö and 120 km from Copenhagen airport.
We are now looking for an experienced waiter/waitress 100%from mid June to end of August. Recruitment is ongoing.
We have 13 hotel rooms and a restaurant where, most days a week, we serve three-course menus to our residents but also to outside-guests. Our menu is based on Swedish modern dishes with a focus on seafood, Swedish meat and locally produced vegetables. Our season is April to October.
During the season, we are about 15 employees whitin houskeeping, breakfast, restaurant and reception. Our employees have a varied background with many different ethnicities and ages, but we are happy to have a very pleasant working community and many employees who has been with us for several years.
We are now looking for waiting staff with several years of proven experience of fine dining. You must speak fluent Swedish and / or fluent English and may have knowledge of wine.
To thrive with us, you should be unpretentious and enjoy your own responsibility. As we are a small workplace, we all help with the tasks that arise during the day. The hotel is located in a small quiet village with proximity to very beautiful nature with good opportunities for swimming, hiking and cycling. The nearest town is 20 minutes away by bus or car.
We need help with mainly evening service and breakfast service, reception and occasional house keeping duties can become relevant. You should be used to serving and mixing common cocktails, handling a manual espresso machine and a modern cash register system with table reservations. Of course, you are outgoing, neat. easygoing and passionate about service.
We offer seasonal employment from 15th of June to 30th of August and if needed with simple accommodation within cycling distance of the hotel. The salary follows Swedish agreements with hourly employment 100% distributed over the period. Currently about 13 Euro per hour but can be discussed if you hold the right qualifications. To be able to get a work permit in Sweden you have to hold an EU membership.

Vi söker en glad och noggrann person för att bli en i gänget på Sveriges vackraste arbetsplats. Du bör tycka om människor och mat och ha ett öga för detaljer. Tjänsten är 100% säsongsanställning från maj tom september med kvällsservering eller frukostservering även under helger. Vi arbetar med fine dining baserat på närodlat och säsongsproducerade matvaror och serverar fasta trerättersmenyer till både externa gäster och hotellgäster under kvällen. Frukosten serveras till bordet med lokala råvaror och hemgjort bröd. Tillträde så fort som möjligt. Lön enligt avtal och erfarenhet.
